Originally from South America, passion fruits have the form of brown and purple berries the a size of a chicken egg. Passion fruits are consumed raw together with pits. They area a great addition to ice-cream, yoghurt or cocktails. The pulp is known for its refreshing, sweet and sour taste. Passion fruit oil is successfully used in the cosmetic industry.
